Resin glass
The series consists of one table and four stools. The overall silhouette of the table and stools draw inspiration from the classical drum stools, which are commonly present in traditional Chinese gardens and other settings. Through deconstructing the original design, and extracting the profile of the drum stool, a new depiction emerges.
The reimagined stools have ten interlocking parts made of a compressed resin material. The color chosen for this new collection is inspired by cinnabar, a red pigment widely used in Ancient China. The color choice conveys a digital translation of colors and pigments.
